I would like to know the advantages and disadvantages of Windows Operating System design, Kernel System design and Micro Kernel approach over system design. Earlier design is deeply appreciated.

How can we layer the system components of an operating system that are closely dependent on one another? If anybody has come across the similar scenario, please help.

Can anyone help me to run an application as background process? Later, I would like to bring it foreground. How can I do this? If I end the application, will that affect the functioning of other related processes?

If you were to find one of your APM systems shutting down instead of hibernating  considering you are the administrator of your network and the burden of planning and carrying out all in-house computers falls squarely on you and after some thinking you set all your systems to hibernate. Do you have any idea how you would troubleshoot this problem?

I am getting a Fill dialogue while trying to delete the background of a graphic image using Photoshop.

I am following this procedure:

                     Open the file in Photoshop,  Select the background using Magic Wand or Quick Selectionà Press Delete.

Am I doing the right thing?

Do I need to change anything?

How do I get rid of the message?
