What should I do to install my Hewlett Packard LaserJet pro 300 printer to my computer? I have downloaded the HP Laserjet printer driver from the printer manufacturer website, the installation disk supplied with the printer is corrupt. The downloaded driver would would install, but the computer is always searching for driver whenever I plug the printer to the computer. Why is the driver not properly install? could it be that there are virus on my system?

What could be the possible cause of my HP Laser Jet 1300n printer not working or responding when connected to a desktop PC with Windows 7 bit 64 OS? I have tried to install its drivers of the printer on the desktop PC and jet still the printer is not recognized by the computer. What could be the possible cause? Whenever I give a print command to my HP desk jet color printer, it takes minute or two just for spooling. I think its a long time. After giving the print command the green light blinks for almost 2 minutes and after that it starts printing. Should I be worried about it?
