I am trying to use the asterisk server for the first time. I have got a project to build a dialer based on asterisk server. But I started getting errors while using asterisks server. While using the “asterisk” I am getting error:

 dahdi-linux-2.4.1.2-1_centos5.x86_64 from asterisk-current has depsolving problems

   –> Missing Dependency: dahdi-firmware is needed by package dahdi-linux-2.4.1.2-1_centos5.x86_64 (asterisk-current)

 Error: Missing Dependency: dahdi-firmware is needed by package dahdi-linux-2.4.1.2-1_centos5.x86_64 (asterisk-current)

How will I fix this issue?

When I am trying to start the dovecot, I can’t see any leading errors in the file /var/log/mail.log, But when I start checking out the different details from different files, I do see errors in /var/log/syslog stating: init: dovecot main process (xxx) terminated with status 89. Is there any idea how to resolve the issue?

I have been working in a famous networking company for last three years in Bangladesh. In this work I face a problem. I can’t understand how do I network a such installed machine with other computers, specifically Red hat Linux?

I never transfer files ssh, FTP still, but I'm sick it's too long!!
In putty, so I type the following:
scp J: Serveur_19_09_11 SINET www root @ r16985: / home / SINET
But putty me back this error message:
ssh: J: Name or service not Known
In fact I want to copy the folder and sub folders that are on the external drive J: / connected to USB.

I am using Ubuntu 11.04. I configured Fedora server in Ubuntu. When I run server, it gives me an error message that is,

"ftp_proxy are not found”

But I also give same IP in ssl_proxy. Please give a solution.

Hi Everybody

Here is my situation, yesterday when i tried to install Ubuntu v10 on my computer equipped with windows 7 (i wanted dual boot), the installation crushed at the end,so i tried to erase it from the hard drive.

I have opened the partition where Ubuntu was installed using windows 7 and i deleted it ( the ext4 partition) but when i rebooted my computer i got this message at boot:

No such partition

GRUB rescue>

Is there any solution to found access to windows?
