I use tester for memory testing and had generator for hard drive problem. What are the best and effective way to test a computer, mother, processor, video cards, etc.completely? Any software or hardware device?

I've decided to overclock my system, it is now running at 2.90GHz and its a 2.40GHz CPU, and my Ram is now 326, now i'm going to buy new RAM soon some 266MHz (PC 2100), now will i have to underclock when i install this new RAM, what i mean is that my old RAM will be 326MHz but my new will be 266MHz, so when i install it, Will it automatically change its frequency to 326MHz?

Now I am using Pentium 4 with gigabyte if I want to change my processor to new version then is it possible to change it and I also want to change my hard disk to 500 GB then is it possible to change it?

if it is possible then which version of processor I can use of it?

Currently I have my Computer lying flat on my desk with my Monitor on top and speakers on the sides but I do not particularly like it. Any ideas on the best and most convenient and not to mention best looking setup. Feel free to share your own as well.

My externtal hitachi 1Tb hard drive will not recognize as a drive on my computer. I have only had it a number of weeks, it has not been used a lot and I could not tell you a reason why this may be the case. I have tried several computers, and USB connections and nothing has helped.

There is data recovery software on the drive if that is of use. I would like to be able to use it once to copy the data to another hard drive and then I can send it back on warranty.

I am currently using an Office computer.Every time I start it makes a very annoying sound from inside the CPU. The noise persists for a while then after a short period of time am able to start my computer and work on it.How do I deal with this problem of making this noise and taking too long to start?

After installing the window, I couldn't find the drivers on the internet because I was unable to locate the model of my PC's motherboard. Can you please tell me that is there any software which can show us the information of the motherboard including name and model?

My office computer has a problem in booting. Every time i start it ,after displaying these options: safe mode, safe mode with command prompt and start windows normally, I usually select the start windows normally but it keeps taking me to the same step of the options and it can't finish the booting process. What should i do for my computer to finish the booting?

I have a laptop which i just bought recently. When the power is off without I realizing; i mean before I plug in the power, my computer does not resume to the previous work I was doing before the power went off. For the browsers they restore, but for the rest of the other programs and applications they don't. I would like to know what's the problem and rectify it.
