Recently I installed an antivirus which name is Avast.

After installing it, my webcam does not work.

But in the past, I could use it and I could easily take any picture and also record video.

What is the problem?

Does anyone know how to get rid of "Chinese virus"? It makes my computer and internet real slow. The solution says to run house call but it failed because everything is so slow. Even my antivirus does not detect anything. If anyone knows the solution please help me out.

Before my hard drive crash, I'm not encountering this problem. After I restore my outlook email message, a message always pop-ups before downloading new email message. How could I remove the error message? Currently I don't use now AVG I'm using AVAST now.

I am trying to install divocodec, but during the installation process got a warning from the Anti-virus is a type of malware that the program, then anti-virus removes all installation files for divocodec, But I'm not sure if I'm still infected since I've noticed there have changed in a shell file. How can i fix this?

 I have Panda Cloud Antivirus 1.5.1 in my computer at home. I have another computer in my office where i have installed the same antivirus from cd. But there is no internet connection in my office. So how can I update my office antivirus by using any usb or cd?

My PC is being used by other people like friends.

However, I noticed that there are some who open websites (though these are not adult sites) but these websites are used for downloading music or videos. They download videos or music from those sites then save these in my PC before they save it in their CD or portable memory stuff.

I don't want them to access these sites because I know that some of the files that maybe downloaded from here contain virus. I have informed the users of my PC not to view these sites but they still continue to go to these sites and download.

I am quite responsible for the problem I caused. I know we are not supposed to click email attachments with .exe extensions but out of curiosity I did and nothing happened at first. But as I restarted the computer, I saw several apps partially missing. Their icon and start Menu entries are still there but the applications are not. If I click any icon it says that the file is missing. The missing apps include my antivirus which is AVG free version. I reinstalled it and scanned but no threats were found! Moreover as I restarted my computer it again went missing. I installed Avira antivirus but it cant detect the threat. How to remove the threat?

I have Symantec antivirus installed in my computer and I set it to up-to-date. But it always shows a message that "Symantec Endpoint Protection Antivirus and Anti spyware protection definitions are out of date". And it shows a stop icon. I am facing various viruses as i have connected to LAN and every computer has different type of viruses. 

Which is a better free antivirus? I heard that AVG is the preferred one but I would love to hear from someone who really has knowledge about these stuffs. I just got a new Lenovo laptop and I don’t know what antivirus I will be using.
