I tried installing Mac OS 10.6 on HP Pavilion DV6 but before starting the setup menu, I came across a message that says “You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button.

The thing is, I was able to install it once on a computer but now I can’t do it on a laptop. I’m including in this message the specs of my system that you may use it for further reference RAM:6GB; CPU: Intel Core i5 2.53; VGA: 1G ATI.

Hi there! I am having a little trouble with my Intel Mac Pro. It used to work just fine until I installed two additional hard drives. The thing is only one of the two new drivers is visible. It is actually in the Disk Utility and from there I could see, repair, and verify it but it doesn’t seem to appear in the Finder. Hello! I recently installed parallels in my Mac and my computer running on Windows 7. Now, I need to install an application that requires NET Framework. While I tried downloading the NET Framework from the Microsoft’s website but I keeps on getting the error message saying “C:UsersAdministratorAppDataLocalMicrosoftWindowsTemporary Internet FilesContent.IE55SOFW5UAdotNetFx40_Full_setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application". I am having trouble with my computer and I am hoping you will be able to help me. I am running Windows 7 and the problem is, after five minutes of being idle, it would suddenly hang. 

I tried disabling all the power-saving settings, ran the computer in standby mode, hibernated it, and I even tinkered with the task scheduler, but none of these efforts worked. Whenever my computer would be idle for a while, it would freeze but it would eventually work again after five minutes.

I already tried looking for answers in Google but none of my attempts...

Hello! I am currently running Windows 7 machine and I wanted to make it look like a Mac. The problem is that I cannot undo the changes. I managed to remove the Snow Transformation Pack (STP) though the computer still shows the Mac OSX background. In fact, the login screen and even the appearance of the computer still look like a Mac, including the icons. I was not able to create a restore point and now I cannot risk an uncertain restoration or reformatting. I hope somebody can explain how I could figure this out. Thank you in advance.

Hi! I have this certain hyberfil.sys file in my drive D:. I used to have hyberfil.sys files in my drive C: until I transferred them to drive D:. Now, I need to delete these files because they are taking up too much space; it almost occupied 2GB of the memory. I couldn’t delete them, not even after trying it on hibernation mode. Hi there! I have a concern about installing Windows 8 in the Virtual Machine. I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate in 32-bit but I have been trying to download the virtual machine in Windows 8.

I was able to download Windows Virtual PC so I tried installing it first. Upon trying, my screen went blue with an error message saying “HAL Initiation Failure.’ As such, I tried installing VM Virtual Box instead. Hi there! I am having a problem connecting my laptop to the television using an HDMI cable. I was actually able to do it before but now it has stopped working. Whenever I connect the laptop to the TV using the HDMI cable, the laptop screen would just go blank like it isn’t receiving signal; the TV would not respond either.
