What is this problem “Hal.dll is Missing”???

Hello there,

I have recently experienced a problem but i have not seen this before and i was surprised by this problem.

 "Hal.dll is Missing" it is the message given when i get this trouble...

I know nothing about it  so how can i face it??

Its seems really frustrating and don't understand what to do I shut down my PC or what ???

I have Windows XP professional operating system in my PC, is this problem related to the operating system or some thing else??

What is 404 error???. Why do i get this?

Hi

I am a regular surfer on the web and I enjoy it but some times I see a message that says, "404 error" and then goes no where.

I don't understand this problem and why this happens? Is this a problem with the browser I am using or some thing else ? I am using Firefox 3.6.17 version. What is the problem with it? and is there any solution for this problem?

What is Blue Screen of Death (BSOD)???

Hi,

I have seen times where my PC suddenly shuts down and before that, a blue screen appears with something I don't understand.
 
Recently, I have been told that it is called BSOD or Blue screen of Death. But I had no idea what it is and why it happens in the middle of any program that I'm using or even when I am just playing games. I want to know why it happens. If there are any remedy to this problem, please don't hesitate to tell me about it.

Is it very important to keep computer in AC room??

Hi

i have heard that computer may at risk if we keep it in normal room's having no air conditioning system.

I want to know how much important is it??? Or is it really harmful for PC to keep in a non-Air conditioning room.

And if we keep it in a n air-conditioning room then what is the preferable temperature for the machine to work properly.

Another thing is that what kind of problem can occur if Air-conditioning is not available or not given to the machine.

I own my own PC but it is always kept in normal condition not in air conditioning...

Why My windows experience index reduce after installing Newer driver??

Hi,

I have Motherboard of Intel DG41 and it consists built in graphics card which is 1024 MB. Normally when i use my default driver for those graphics adapter i got windows experience index for graphics 3.5 but when i use a latest version of this driver i got the index number 3.4. So i want to know why this happens.

My operating system is Windows Seven ultimate version, now i want to know why this happens. I expect increment in the index number but it decreases, why?

How to solve laptop strange noise issue?

Hi,

I have got a Dell Inspiration 1300 laptop and it has developed a bit of issue for me. It is making strange noises.
 
In fact my laptop was not a noise maker a couple of weeks ago but it has started to make strange noises like screeching, whirring etc. Even it is not just making horrible noises now-a-days.
