CMOS Battery Acer Aspire 4730z Series

I have my Acer Aspire 4730z Series and just bought it for the past three months.

I'm having this annoying problem of this CMOS Battery, before it all works fine.

The issue is this, after it is left overnight and turn it on for the first time in the morning, the date will reset back to January 2010.

For example: if I boot at 3:00, set correct time at 3:05 and shutdown 3:30, the next time I start the notebook the time shows 3:05.
 
I entered the BIOS and the clock in not running. 
 
I doubt that this could be CMOS battery problem or...

I have a HP Pavilion DV6000 laptop.

Computer always restarts after playing a game

I enjoy playing games using my computer. It's my past time and my way to relax.

So disappointed. I just bought a desktop and I am trying to install Windows 7 Professional. I followed the instructions to download it and was successful in completing the installation. How to transfer my Macbook files to my maxtor external drive.

Hi all,

I have a Maxtor E01G300, OneTouch II, 300 GB external hard drive, that I commonly use with my Win XP laptop and desktop. About 3 months ago, I bought my new Macbook.

I decided to transfer some of my files for back up, from my new Macbook to my external drive, but it won't allow me to do so, and there's a message always popping out, "maxtor cannot be modified".

I even tried deleting files, sending my maxtor to trash (OSX) and I'm getting a message, that I don't have sufficient privileges. Anyone can help me solve this problem?

Hello,

I would like to ask a question that's been bothering me for a while. I just got a new Dell Latitude E4310 with Windows 7 Professional and Office 2007 installed on it. The problem occurred while I was typing in Microsoft Word the cursor suddenly move to other parts of Microsoft Word.

My computer is freezing all the time

Hi,

I am a new computer user. I have a very irritating problem, with my desktop now a days. I am not a much heavy user such as graphics or sort of these things. But my computer sometimes freezes in some states. My keyboard, mouse none of them are working. I have to restart my computer. In this manner I lost my some valuable works.
