I'm just confused about my connection speed.

My friend and I have the same internet connection, and it is a broadband. Now the speed on her connection is 100.0Mbps, and mine has only got 10.0 Mbps. Is it not about internet connection? What is the reason? Why  do we have different speeds but same connection? Is there something I need to upgrade on my computer desktop? I want also to change my connection speed in 100.0 Mbps. Please help me, thanks.

My sister bought a VAIO laptop at japan, and she brought it in here at Philippines for us to use it.

The OS is Windows 7 (Japanese version).

I bring it to the computer maintenance to convert the laptop to English version. But it doesn't change at all.

Some of the folders are still in Japanese language.

I don't have any idea on how to set it into English language.

The classes of my niece will be start on next week. She needs to use the laptop for her studies.

She can't read Japanese language, and she's not yet familiar with everything in the computer.

I'm having a trouble in my computer because of the viruses. I connected my new external drive two days ago to my computer, to back up some of my files. Then when I connected the external drive into my friends laptop to share some mp4 songs, there was a warning pop up message that appeared on her desktop.

It says “Your System Has Been Infected” and there's a list of the viruses then we found Spyware.

It means my computer also have a virus. How can I remove the spyware on my external while my computer also have an anti spyware?...

I have a router used for wireless to laptop and a wired connection for Playstation 3 and the desktop.

At first it worked fine but it would disconnect after around 30 minutes. I tried to contact online support and they suggested me to hard reset the router. I followed all the instructions given; reset the router and set up the connection again and now I wasn’t able to find the wireless connection.

I’ve tried many times to manually add a wireless connection to the laptop but it doesn’t work. Tried for an answer on Google for anything similar to my problem...

Our computer is 4 yrs. used, and it's started to hanged up always. When I'm going to opened the computer, it's very too slow in the startup and the icon doesn't show for 1 - 2 hours. I tried to reformat my computer but the problem is, it's asking for a password. My uncle is the last who reformat our computer, I didn't know that he did set a password. I’ve been irritated by the looks of my menu since yesterday. There is something glitch with my menu, things doesn’t seem normal to me at all so I decided to consult someone who could help me with my depression.

When I try to open a folder window and click any of the menus with a drop down option the drop down appears but it was completely transparent, and the menu text may be visible until I hover the Mouse pointer over the submenu.

Hi! Guys,

My computer have a Trojan horse virus. Then I tried to scan the whole computer with my upgraded Antivirus. It detected the files that infected by Trojan virus. My problem is, I can't remove or heal my file.

Guys, please help me on how to remove Trojan virus? Is there any way like using the CMD to remove Trojan virus? I can't reformat my computer because I have lots of files that are saved on my computer. If I back up it on my external drive, then it will also get infected by the virus....
