I have a new BlackBerry Curve and want to install a third party application. I was told that I can download the software over the air (OTA) but I don’t want OTA as I got the BlackBerry Desktop Software when buying.

How do I solve this problem?

Here comes my question:

I was installing SDK on my XP box. After installing the ADOBE AIR SDK I was trying to point to it while installing the web works package. I got a message about an Incorrect SDK:

"Incorrect SDK Detected
Incorrect AIR® SDK selected. Please browse to https://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/air-sdk-download.html to get the Adobe® AIR® SDK 2.5."

I got the SDK from Adobe web page. I don't understand, what kind of AIR SDK do i need to select?

I was trying to launch Spotify on Windows 7 build 7077.

I run as admin and have changed the compatibility settings but still get the same problem:

Spotify

An internal exception occurred (Address: 0x0)

Please contact [email protected]

What to do?

Do I need to install Windows update to make it work?

Or maybe re-install Windows?

Hello,

Can you give me a hand with my BlackBerry?

I got BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet running on the Adobe AIR platform. When I try to install it on a 64-bit Windows machine I get this message:

Alert

Win64 not supported

The author of the package you are installing did not include support for this platform

Is this an installer issue? The Simulator seems not to be 64-bit compatible installer for the SDK.

I need some help here. I run Application Loader on my BlackBerry Smartphone Simulator but it didn’t connect and I got the following long message: 

The Application Loader could not connect to your BlackBerry® device. Try the following actions:

1. Disconnect your device and wait 10 seconds.

2. Turn off the Power Management settings on your computer from:

a. Control Panel > System.

b. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.

c. Expand Universal Serial Bus Controllers.

Here's my problem:

I have installed Virtual DJ v6.0.2 professional on my computer with Windows XP OS. The first time I ran the Virtual DJ in 2 minutes the program closed and I got an error message:

What seems to be the issue here? Do I perhaps need to update my software too?

When trying to send text message (send SMS) via  Ava Pa 4 (Added Value Application) I got  the following message:

AVAPA4

Unable to send message, error 27137.

Is it possible that Ava software is detecting a setting previously stored on the machine?

I have a question that may seem trivial to you but it is serrious for me.

I tried to install Blackberry Desktop Software 5 on my Windows 7 OS computer and got the following error:

Error 1402. Could not open key:

BlackBerry Desktop Software 5.0 Installer Information

UNKNOWNComponentsDA42BC89BF25F5BD0AF18C3B9B1A1EE80002119F20000000000000000F01FEC. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.

I tried to change the permissions but failed again. Do I need to reset the permissions and if so, how do I do that?

I have crushes and errors happening (Exception AMPI subsystem error) when editing a project that was shot with a digital camera:

I have Avid Media Composer 5. Program was working fine until recently. My configuration is Imac 10.6.4 version, Intel i7 , 2.8 GHz with 8 GB ram.

I started reinstalling BlackBerry Desktop Software 5.0.1 and during the installation I encountered the following problem:

Desktop Software.msi’ is not a valid installation package for the

product BlackBerry Desktop Software 5.0.1. Try to find the

installation package ‘BlackBerry Desktop Software.msi’in a

folder from which you can install BlackBerry Desktop Software

Then I pointed ‘BlackBerry Desktop Software.msi’file to the right location but no effect.

I have operating system MS Windows XP SP3.
