Will these give instructions make it work? Does anyone have such experience?

Is it easy to fix, or should I ask for professional help?

Thank you very much,

Dear Mr. Grinn,

You can follow the instructions given. Any how you can follow the below instruction step by step. Before that take the back up from the device because this will wipe out all the information from the device.

1. You have to download JL Commander and install it.

2. In PC go to c:program filescommon filesresearch in motionapploader and delete the file vendor.xml.

3. If you don’t installed the Handled OS in your PC then the vendor.xml file won’t be there so ignore the previous step.

4. Connect the device with PC using the USB cable. Desktop manager should be closed).

5. The Battery should be removed from the device and wipe the device.

Wipe the device with JL Cmdr. This may take so many attempts but keep trying to connect the device to wipe it.

6. The device will reboot with a white screen with "507" error.

If the device not connects after so many attempts then please remove the device from PC and install the Desktop Manager and Handled OS in the PC.

1. Open Command prompt and change to C:Program FilesCommon FilesResearch in MotionAppLoader ( The Desktop Manager should not be in running mode).

2. Connect your device with PC.

3. In command prompt, enter loader .exe/nojvm.

4. Then the app loader wizard window will open and click the next button.

5. A drop down list will appear with COM port and USB port entry select USB:UNKNOWN.

6. If USB:UNKNOWN or USB:BBPIN are not in the dropdown then disconnect the device from PC and Application Loader wizard  window should be opened.

7. Remove the battery and put it again.

8. You can find the red led now connect the device with PC and when USB: UNKNOWN appears in the window you have to click the next button immediately.

9. Now the loader will connect to your device and you can reinstall the OS.

Hi,

You need to download application launcher instead and finally installed it on your Blackberry device. In that case, you will not find the above problem and it will vanish definitely. If you want to stay with present application loader then in that case uninstall the application loader and try to reboot the model. Then, re install the loader and try again. Hope this will solve the problem.
