I have updated my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and I have this error when I want to open some programs. The first error is this with Paint.Net. I never experienced this error before and I don’t know what happened. Does anyone can help me to fix this ? Why I have this kind of errors? It might be because of the update? Thank you!

A problem with Paint.Net SFX Setup
I think you are not aware that when you upgrade your operating system from Microsoft Windows 8 to Microsoft Windows 8.1, all the programs currently installed on your computer needs to be reinstalled. Though I’m not sure if it is still necessary to reinstall them since they are both version 8 but that’s the usual process when upgrading an old operating system to a new one like from Microsoft Windows 7 to Microsoft Windows 8.
If you are using an old version of Paint.NET you need to download the latest version because it supports until Microsoft Windows 8.1. Download the latest version from Paint.NET Download. Paint.NET 3.5.11 supports Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista Service Pack 1, Windows 7 Service Pack 1, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1.
If you will be downloading Paint.NET 4.0 Beta, this one supports Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and up, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. They require different version of Microsoft .NET Framework. For Paint.NET 3.5.11, Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 is required. For Paint.NET 4.0 Beta, it requires Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.1.
All required Microsoft .NET Frameworks don’t need to be installed separately because it will be installed automatically.
