To configure access point as a wireless repeater:

1) Check the Wireless MAC address

  • Go to the router’s web-based page.
  • Click on the Status button and then on Wireless.
  • Search for the MAC address. It your router’s wirelesses MAC address.

Check the wireless MAC address of an access point

  • Connect your PC to the access point.
  • Assign your desktop with a static IP address.
  • Go to the web-based setup page.

Note the Wireless MAC Address.

  • configure another WAP54G, set it as wireless repeater Set-up Wireless Repeater Mode
  • Go to the access point’s web-based setup page.
  • Click on AP Mode and then press on Wireless Repeater.
  • In ‘Remote Access Points LAN MAC address field’, type the address.
  • Press the save settings button.
