I am connected to my home WiFi Network and my Personal Computer doesn't have a Built in WiFi support. I can't afford a 50 metres long LAN Cable from Router to my PC. I was wondering if I can share the WiFi connection through my Smartphone to the PC using Phone's USB Cable. I want to share the Home WiFi Network, to which my Smartphone is already connected to use Internet on my PC. Is it possible?
Connected to WiFi on Smartphone can I share this connection?
Connecting your smartphone's internet connection to PC or laptop is called "Tethering". And yes nowadays smartphone technology has made internet access so easy and it is definitely in multiple ways. We can use our GSM packet data connection to connect our PC or laptop. As far as using wifi enabled smartphone to your PC with a usb cable,it is not only possible but very easy. Here are the simple steps.
1. Make sure that your smartphone drivers are installed properly.
2.Turn On Wifi connection on your phone.
3. Connect your phone with your laptop or PC with the USB cable.
4. Now you can enable usb tethering from settings option of your phone.
After enabling usb tethering you can enjoy net browsing on your PC.
