I have been facing the issue: Windows could not connect to the system event notification service. Can anyone help with this?
Two major causes and resolutions are given below:
1. If you made any hardware or software changes and then started experiencing this, it’s possible that the changes aren’t compatible and you need to reverse them and check if you still get the error.
2. If the above doesn’t work, you need to check if your system event notification service is running. To do this, you should click the start button and type ‘services’ in the search box. Run it and check if its status is “started”.
If not, the problem lies here. You will need a service administrator to check the service and replace it.
