Hallo Tiffany,

To resolve that error, use the following procedure:

1. First, you will have to download the installation package for the ESET security product. Make sure that you check your computer specifications to verify whether it is a 32 bit or 64 bit before you proceed to downloading.

2. Save the installation package on your desktop.

3. After that you will need to click on the setup to Run it.

4. In the event that a previous antivirus software is detected on your computer, you will have to shut down the installer, disable the antivirus and then continue with the installation.

Regards,

Follow the following steps to solve the problem:

1. Uninstall or deactivate another antivirus in your computer (if installed).

2. Go to run and type regedit and then click ok.

3. Right click on HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE  and click on permissions.

4. Click advanced and on the 'Permissions' tab and make sure at the bottom of this window the following are ticked inherit from parent the permissions entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicitly defined here.

Replace permission entries on all child  objects with entries shown here that apply to child objects.

After the above try to reinstall a new copy of NOD32

IF it doesn't resolve the problem then try this:

1. Uninstall your firewall (in most case its outpost pro).
2. Use ccleaner for registry.
3. Install NOD32 v3.0.
4. Install firewall again.

If still problem exists then i prefer to install another antivirus or if you really want to stick with NOD32 try reinstalling your window.
