Hi,

I use Dell XPS M1530 and I am running Vista-Ultimate 64-bit on it. Last week Dell Dock stopped functioning. It reports that there is a problem and it has to close. When I click on the send error statement there is an error saying it can't report the problem then it won't perform anything. I have reinstalled the software but the same thing happens.

What should I do?

Need your help. Thanks

I think this problem is for your registry value problem. You need to clean your registry. Use latest version of Dell Dock. Download Dell dock from dell website. www.dell.com. Choose 64 bit option. You need active internet connection to install Dell dock. Clean your registry. You can use Tweak registry cleaner. Download it from http://www.tweaknow.com/ After that install your newly downloaded Dell dock. If it still does not work, then restore your computer to an earlier point. Go to control panel, then click System & security. After that click on System restore. Select a date when Dell dock was running correctly. Then restore. I hope it will work

Hi,

If the station's power management software is corrupted, damaged or outdated, the docking station may not recognize or use the power adapter properly, even if all other factors are correct. Dell's support Web page offers updates to the various drivers and BIOS files for its products, including docking stations. Visit Dell's Support page to input your docking station's model information to download any important updates available. The adapter you're connecting may be faulty, otherwise a local computer repair shop may be able to help.

Regards.
