Problem installing CA Internet Security Suite Plus

Hi,

I recently downloaded CA internet Security Suite Plus. When I run the set up an error message appears then it prompts  me to install Website inspector. If  I allow the installer to go on everything runs well apart from Website inspector.

I have a Dell which came preinstalled with Windows XP SP2. Google toolbar was also preinstalled, Could it be the one causing this problem?

Need a solution. Thanks

Problem installing CA Internet Security Suite Plus

I think you are trying to install the 2012 version of CA Internet Security Suite Plus. Because this version is not compatible with Service Pack 2 versions of Windows XP. You can install this version on Windows XP Service Pack 3 and above.

That is, if you are really installing the 2012 version. But if not and you are installing a much lower version, you need to check the version’s system requirements to verify its compatibility with your operating system.

You can install CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2012 on a computer that is running on Windows 2000 Professional Service Pack 4, Windows Home Server, Windows XP Home / Professional / Media Center Service Pack 3 and above, Windows Vista Ultimate / Business / Home Premium / Starter, and Windows 7 Ultimate / Business / Home Premium / Starter.

If you are installing CA Internet Security Suite Plus 2012 and you don’t want to upgrade Windows XP to Service Pack 3, then might as well install a much older version of this application.

Problem installing CA Internet Security Suite Plus

Hi, you need to un install those other applications that you think is not allowing you to install the CA Internet Security Suite Plus, then after that try to install again the CA Internet Suite Plus and see if you can now completely install it to your computer.

My suggestion first before you do any of that is this, you need to know if your computer meets the minimum system requirements for installing the CA Internet Security Suite Plus

:, secondly you need to uninstall some of the security software that you have installed in your computer like the firewall, antispyware, antivirus from other software, thirdly make sure restart your computer after you uninstall any software,reboot then uninstall again.,make sure to close any programs running on your computer, and lastly log in as the administrator of the computer.
