| When I open my Adobe Premier Elements 9 to open my project, there is the DVD disc menu drag & drop instead. There should be video instead. How do I fix this? |

Sometimes during the installation a glitch in the operation sometimes occurs and this is usually the reason why after installing it you will see a different presentation or arrangement on its toolbars or panels. I already experienced this once and I’m not sure what’s causing this. But if the application works perfectly well then you don’t have to worry anything and just use it. You may try completely uninstalling Adobe Premier Elements 9 and then install it back to fix any corrupted files in the installation and to restore its settings back to default including some that you might have customized.
Or, after completely removing the application you can proceed on checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. Any errors in the hard drive’s file system can cause different sorts of errors in the application and can sometimes make an installation to go wrong that leads to a problematic or incomplete software installation. After checking the computer you can install Adobe Premier Elements 9 back.
