Hi there,

During the update of firmware for VEXnet this error appears and closes the update. I have the updates from official website and I followed all the steps as it says in the instructions. Can anyone help me to fix this ? What could be the problem ?

Thanks !

Since it is doing an update on a device and not installing a program on the computer, close the application and restart the computer. Connect the device to the computer and then start VEXnet. Try the update again and then see how it goes. If it doesn’t work, check the current firmware version of your device and verify that it is not the latest.

The VEXnet software should show you the latest version of the firmware and it should not match the one installed on your device and it should be a lot newer. But if it turns out that your device is already running on the latest firmware then that’s the reason why you are receiving an error.

Check again some other time for new firmware updates. In case your device doesn’t have yet the latest firmware, visit your device’s official website and download the latest version of VEXnet. Once downloaded, uninstall your current application then install the newly downloaded VEXnet. Next, try updating the firmware again. You can also check the site for the latest firmware and then download it.

Install it manually on your device using VEXnet.
