I was working as freelance Software Programmer. I was working in the site and doing activities. While the activities are getting submitted, sometimes it hangs. I thought it may be due to the space problem in the system I started cleaning the temp files in the system parallel and again started submitting the work.

After 2 submissions again I got the same problem. This time I got it as resubmit the task again.  Again I had submitted the job about after 20 minutes it got submitted. Since activity is an important one I don’t want to waste it. So, I had waited for so much time. Then it got submitted, without any corruption.

Really it is great but, What is the reason for that? 

Please Explain.

I work as a researcher and I need to save webpages as an image or PDF. Based on my internet research, I found software but bit expensive. Freeware is the one I need at the moment to check if there is really a software that will work.

At the moment, what I do to save the webpage as an image, I press PrtSc on my keyboard then paste it on paint. That's a lot of work and very time consuming. It would be nice if I just click on file then save the webpage as an image or PDF.

Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

My home page  has changed itself for the third time. I have set my home age was set to Google, but now every time I open my browser it redirects me to a yahoo pager.

I tried changing the homepage by going to Tools> Internet Options> Changed the homepage to Google then clicked ok.

When I opened it, still bringing me to a yahoo page.

I also tried deleting cookies, cache and browsing history.

So far I got no luck. I can go to other websites it's just that I am unable to change my homepage. 

Please anyone here who can help me?

I am currently running Windows 7 Ultimate. I had a virus just this day. I can’t seem to boot from Safe Mode. The F8 key don’t lead me to Windows Advanced Boot Options, but rather to GRUB4DOS 0.4.4 with a red window. First of all, I don’t know what grub is. But I am seeing options like this:

Windows 7 with SLIC Loader (default) — which if I clicked will start my window

Windows 7 without Loader — same thing

Windows 7 with SLIC Loader (Use Alternative Method)

Windows 7 with SLIC Loader(full debug output)

Windows 7 with SLIC Loader(more forceful-may crash) —– I never try this

I just got a new Dell Inspiron laptop, with no Operating System installed in it. I was planning to install both Linux and Windows in it and I already prepared a partition for both Linux and Windows.

At first I installed Ubuntu Linux  and there's no glitch whatsoever, with the installation. I've checked, all the devices can be recognized and no unknown hardware.

The second step would be installing Windows XP. The problem occurs when my laptop restarts.  It goes directly to Windows XP. There's no menu to select which operating system to choose and inside Windows XP also all the devices are recognized perfectly too.

I want to setup a domain log in on my own office network with ten computers.

I want to remotely control or access each of those  computers.

Do I need to turn off the Antivirus software to remotely access the computer? 

I'd like to know also what is the best operating system I can use.

Can I use different Operating System on each computer?

Do I need to use a specific software or hardware to setup domain log in?

Can I access those computers at different locations, like outside the office?

And lastly, do I need high speed Internet do that?

I recently updated my Adobe Flash Player 8 to Adobe Flash Player 10. It worked flawlessly before upgrading it to version 10.  All my games and videos didn’t work. I can only see a white box with error the plug in content has been disabled. I uninstalled it then reinstall for few times now, but it doesn’t work. I am using Mozilla Firefox as my browser and everything that needs a flash player isn't working.  Whenever I tried installing Adobe flash, the loading took a while and then stops. Same thing if I go back to my original version of it. But I need to install the latest version because some site needs a newer version.

My friend’s favorite browser is Google Chrome. Ever since he got familiar with it, he does not use other browser. It is faster and most of all very easy to use according to him.

So I have decided to install it on my Windows Vista machine. Just when I am so excited to use it, it made me halt for a while as I am seeing an error. This error specifies that there is a Windows missing component called expand.exe. I read on one of the sites that I should look for the expand.exe file and I need to make sure that it is under the directory C:Windowssystem32. Well, it is.  

Now I am lost. What else should I check or do to fix it?

I got a problem with my Internet Explorer. I recently did an upgrade from Internet Explorer version 6 to version 8. What I have noticed is that my Internet Browsing slowed down a bit. It seemed that it is not on its usual self. I even encountered that after opening three tabs, it will froze down. I do not want to change browser as I am really comfortable using Internet Explorer 8 and I also liked the way I can open with many tabs, but thinking about this situation makes me feel that I made a wrong decision to upgrade it. By the way, I am using Windows Vista machine if it may pose a conflict with IE8.
