How can I know the difference between SATA and PATA  hard disk?

What is a hard disk and how can it run on a computer?

When I scan a paper, the background color of the scanned paper, appears to be black.

Some papers scanned do not have this background color.

It is clear and white.

I cannot change that color.

How do I fix it ?

I installed java in my laptop. But I couldn't compile& run! Please tell me how to make Setpath in my laptop? Please give me deep instructions.

Hello guys,

I have MS Office 2003 installed in my desktop computer. I am using PowerPoint for my upcoming presentations these days.

A day before yesterday, my co-partner (for presentation work) made a link in order to update the files of the presentation.

But yesterday when we tried to click the link, we received an unknown error message which states:

The linked file was unavailable and can't be updated

We searched this issue over the internet but of no avail.
