I have just installed XSplit and got this message. I have tried uninstalling it and re installing back, the error seemed to be persistent in showing up. Then I uninstalled it again and tried cleaning the registry then installed it. But it showed up again. Can someone teach me how to prevent this error from happening?

Dear Jay,

What was it that you were trying to do when you encountered this error? I suggest you check your PC specifications if it passes the minimum system requirement to run XSPLIT. Here are the list of those requirements:

1. Microsoft Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista, or Windows 7

2. Dot NET Framework 3.5 or higher

3. Adobe Flash Player for IExplorer

4. Direct X 9 or higher

5. and an enabled Graphics Accelerator.

Here's how can enable you Graphics Accelerator:

For Windows XP:

  • Right click on the desktop and click Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Troubleshooting.
  • Set the Hardware acceleration bar to Full.

For Windows Vista/7:

  • Right click on the desktop and click Screen Resolution -> Advanced Settings -> Troubleshoot.
  • Set the Hardware acceleration bar to Full.

If the following steps do not solve the error. Try downloading the latest version of XSPLIT here (https://www.xsplit.com/)

If you are not using Windows 7, I hope it is now clear that your operating system is not compatible with XSplit Broadcaster. Before you install an application, you need to make sure first that your computer meets the requirements and you can do this by checking the program’s system requirements.

With XSplit Broadcaster, it supports Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and Windows 8.x both 32-bit and 64-bit. If you have Windows 7 but you can’t install it or it doesn’t install, update your operating system with the latest Service Pack. Download Windows 7 Service Pack 1 and upgrade your operating system. This is the latest and only Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows 7.

XSplit Broadcaster requires Intel Core i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, Microsoft DirectX 10.1, NVIDIA GeForce or AMD Radeon-class video card, 250 MB free space, and broadband internet connection. If you are not using the latest version, download the latest XSplit Broadcaster from the official website. You can install and use XSplit Broadcaster for free but with some limitations and missing features.
