Sir, I am getting an error message “Some updates were not installed. Failed.” with error code 8007000e .Each time I am trying to update any software or even the windows. So, Can you please help me to tell why it is happening or how can I solve this?
This is the windows update error that may arise while updating any version of Windows Operating System.
The reasons for occurring of this may be your installed antivirus programs which lead to the blocking of installation of updates, or it may be happening due to some corrupt or junk files present, corrupt software distribution folder or internet connectivity issues. This may be resolved as first try and remove junk files, then run system file checker, install all the updates left incomplete, disable all the anti-virus running on your system, delete software distribution folder. After performing all this, It is expected that you stop getting this error. If not, then one last thing which may be causing trouble is to check windows update service if it is stopped.
