The Nokia Lumia 900 RM-823 runs on Microsoft Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. It is powered by 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor along with Adreno 205 GPU and Qualcomm APQ8055 Snapdragon chipset. The thing that I don’t like about it is that the battery can’t be replaced that easily because it is built-in within the unit.

Unlike with the usual Smartphones and handsets where you can easily detach the battery in case it is already failing and needs to be replaced, here, you need to bring it to a technician if you want a battery replacement. It will cost you more just to have a battery replacement. You will pay for the battery and the service of the technician.

I’ve watched a video on YouTube on how to replace the battery of the Nokia Lumia 900 and when I saw it, it already requires good skills to be able to remove each part. Unlike if you have a Samsung handset or the mobile phone models before, you only need to open the back cover, detach the old, install the new battery, and replace the cover and that’s it.

It can be done in very less time. That’s why I get to think that this phone is kind of disposable. When the battery is already weak and starts to fail, the only thing you can do is hide it in your cabinet for souvenir. It is a beautiful phone but not practical for the battery.
