Hello Jeshan,

This type of problem generally occurs when you try to browse internet with unsecured condition.

Do you have any internet security program that helps you to safe browse for your computer?

If you have, please raise its security level a degree upper that is medium or high security level depending on your internet security program.

If you don't have any, please download it or buy it from sites.

Turn on your windows firewall system placed in control panel

If you are using internet explorer, you should rise internet security level to a degree higher.

You can find this in option menu.

Now install the excel again and use it and internet normally.

Hope your problem is solved.

If the error is not that severe and you can still work maybe a simple disk check might fix the problem.

If you have your own disk utility application, use it instead.

Or else Windows disk check will do.

  1. Right click on drive C and then select Properties.
  2. Click Tools tab.
  3. Click Check Now.
  4. Check Automatically fix file system errors and then click Start.

Observe your computer if it still gives out that error.

If it frequently appears, try uninstalling Microsoft Office and then install it back afterwards.

Run any office applications and see if the error will appear.

If reinstalling Microsoft Office did not solve the problem, maybe there is a much severe cause in your operating system.

You may need to format your hard drive and install Windows again.

Always keep your antivirus well updated before going online.
