I am using an HP printer. When I tried to get a print from it today I got an error saying supply memory error. Can you help me with what is supply memory error on HP printer?
A power supply error is generated if the metal contacts/metal chip of a toner cartridge is not properly connected to the corresponding contacts on the printer. The printer will not be able to detect if the toner cartridge is installed and will display the message “Memory error provided” on the printer display.
The error can also be caused by faulty compatible cartridges for which the microchip data is out of date. This issue affects different models of HP LaserJet Pro and MFP printers, especially the HP M1212nf and LaserJet Pro M277dw printer models. This type of problem sometimes occurs after replacing an empty cartridge with a new toner and there are several possible causes.
