To fix this error, perform a repair upgrade using Windows ISO provided in the link.

Also, try creating a local user account in Windows 10 and try to install and update through that account.

Perform an SFC scan and make sure that there are no applications or programs running in the background while doing the scan.

Try this link because it seems to work in updating certain apps

If you keep receiving error code “0x80073cf6” when updating or installing applications from the Windows Store, try creating a Windows 10 bootable media using a USB flash drive. Go to Download Windows 10 then follow the instructions how to create a Windows 10 installation media. Create a bootable USB flash drive.

Once the bootable USB flash drive is created, plug it to the USB port then explore its contents. Locate the setup application (setup.exe) and double-click it to run it. When you are prompted with this UAC warning message, just click “Yes”:

“Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your PC?”

On the next screen, select “Download and install updates (recommended)” then click “Next”. Windows should now check your PC. Click “Accept” on the license terms then wait for Windows 10 to download all available updates. When it is finished, click “Install” on the next screen. After this, wait while Windows perform an in-place upgrade and repair your computer.

When it is finished, you should now be able to login normally and the Windows Store apps will be back.
