VMware Import Wizard shows error

Hello,

I received the following error message when trying to import a virtual PC 2004 Windows 2003 Server VM in VM Workstation 6.0.2. The error shows “Unable to determine Guest Operating System”. How can I fix this annoying error message? Have any idea?

VMware Import Wizard shows error

The following error occurs in case of breach or lack of permission of your system, the solution for avoiding this problem are:-

1 > Make sure that the Virtual machine is not currently running in VMware server.

2 > The permission to access the VMware files are allotted by the user.

3 > Make sure that VMware Server does not have a lock on the VM’s files. You have have to stop all VMware Server Services and/or reboot the (VMware) server.
