Hi brothers,

I have a pre installed .NET framework in my computer and my operating system is Win XP.

Recently I have installed my Sql and apache server and tried to test some web applications under .NET environment, but I have encountered with an error message

Microsoft Development Environment

Visual Studio.NET has detected that the specified Web server is not running ASP.NET version 1.1. You will be unable to run ASP.NET Web applications or services

Need immediate help to solve this problem.

Visual Studio.NET has detected that the specified Web server is not running

Hello, your problem has many reasons as it may occur because visual studio unable to find the server that is mentioned or used in your web project. Or the mentioned web server stopped to work for any reason. The third Probability is the location of your project became incorrect. Because one of the previous reasons the web server became unable to register the .Net framework, ASP.Net is mapped or is not found. Also the dot net framework may be not installed.  Your IP address is changed. There are few steps provided by Microsoft to solve such as problem.
