I am planning on using tooltip in sharepoint 2010.

How exactly can I add a custom tooltip that displays on executing mouse-over a SharePoint 2010 field?

Using Tooltip in SharePoint 2010

Hi Dorothy,

You have to use JavaScript to display the tool tip pop up on SharePoint, and you need to follow a few steps before you can show the tool tip pop up.
