Hi there Techyv users,

I got an issue on my webcam Toshiba Europe. I was supposed to use it but nowhere to be found. Hope someone could help me with this. Thanks everyone in advance! I would appreciate so much.

Hi,

If you are unable to see the icon in the Notification area, it means webcam application is not running in your system. Try these steps:-

  1. Go to All Programs > Click on Toshiba folder
  2. Go to Recovery > Click on “Toshiba Application Installer”
  3. Select the webcam software and let the installer install it
  4.  When software is installed check its icon in the notifications area

In case, you can see the icon, then Go to Device Manager and check for the web cam driver.

If its listed there then right click on it > Update the driver

If its not in the list or there is cross symbol in front of it. Install drivers for web cam
