An error message comes up whenever I press the record video button, also the view finder freezes randomly when I tried to capture a picture. This is one of my old webcam that I have, and all I've been able to do is capture pictures with some problems.

Reinstalling or upgrading the Media player sometimes solves this error. This is an error related to some codec used in Media player.
If this does not solve the problem there is some problem with your codec packs that are installed with Media player. Installing the Media player codec may solve this problem.

If even this fails download latest QuickCam Software-v11.5.

Hi,
I can help you fix the issue with Logitech webcam on your computer. I suggest you to perform the following:
* Make sure you have installed the latest display drivers.
* Check whether you have the latest version of Quickcam installed. Also check if the application is compatible with Windows XP operating system.
* If the issue does not get fixed, try changing plugging in the Webcam to a different USB port.
* Try reinstalling the webcam driver and see if the issue gets fixed.
