Is there a way to bypass bios password

Hello There! I have a laptop eMachines -E727 and I have already forgotten its BIOS password. Is there a way I can recover or reset the password?  Or is there a way to bypass the BIOS password? Do you have any suggestions to be able resolve this? Thank you so much.

Hi,

 

You can remove your BIOS password and removing the password is the only way to reset it. 

 

In order to do that:

– Physically remove the CMOS battery. It is the small battery which is connected to your motherboard. 

– Put it back again. 

– Restart your PC and go to BIOS

– The password should be reset. You can now give a new password or continue without one.

Is there a way to bypass bios password

A BIOS password gives some extra security to computers. And there are many ways to bypass the password.

1. The easiest way is to simply remove the CMOS battery. Take out the battery and wait 10 – 25 minutes before putting it back in. Plug everything back in, power up the computer and enter the BIOS again. It'll reset all BIOS settings as well as the password and you'll need to re-enter all settings.

2. The motherboard jumper can clear all CMOS settings along with the BIOS password. Remove the jumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. Now wait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pin to left pin. The PC must be turned off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper.

3. By overloading the Key Board Buffer, one can bypass the password. This can be done by booting with the keyboard or mouse unattached to the systems, or on some systems by hitting the ESC key over 100 times in rapid succession.
