Hi! I would like to ask your expert opinion on this. I am a student who likes photography. I am currently the proud owner of a Canon XT/350D. However, it was recently overshadowed by a T2i which is owned by a friend of mine. It seems that the T2i has better colors and the pictures have better output than what I had. We even took the same pictures to compare and I thought that his were better. Is it just me or is T2i really better? Is it advisable for me to do an upgrade? I am still a student so I do not have a lot of cash. But still, I really do love photography. Any advice?

Is T2i better than Canon XT/350D?

In photography, the vividness of the images captured does not necessarily mean that you are using the latest camera model. It is how you pore over for the perfect angle of a model that would look great on a person’s perception when captured. Now, with regards to your question; if we will look on the specifications on both Canon xt and Canon T2i obviously, T2i possessed the latest enhancements that would obviously increase the vivacity of the captured image. Since you are still a student, I am advising you to just stick with your Canon xt for the moment. Just remember this, if one does not know how to capture good images, their high end cameras won’t help them either. So your camera is fine all you have to do is focus on how to capture a perfect moment that would make others think what camera model you are using.Â
