Larry,

This error could be related to a scanner problem maybe hardware or software.

If you have one, try first unplugging the scanner and restarting the computer. If the errors does not come on, you have a hardware problem with the scanner. If stills there, reinstall the scanner driver.

If this does not work, go and perform a System Restore to a restoration point back in time when you got the issue. You won't lose any information data doing this.

Hope this helps

That error is from a program you tried to run. Try running the program again then see if it works. If this doesn’t work, restart your computer then try the program again. See if this works. If this doesn’t work, try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it.

Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select the affected program among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process. When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, close Revo Uninstaller then install the program back.

See if this works. If the problem continues, try updating the program to the latest version. If the error appears on startup or when Windows is booting, the error is originating from one of the startup applications. In this case, download the free version of CCleaner and install it. Once installed, start CCleaner then go to “Tools” on the left pane and select “Startup” on the right.

Under “Windows” tab, select the program that triggers the error then click “Disable”. Restart the computer then see if it works. If you don’t know the program that triggers the error, try disabling every item on the list one at a time. Once you located the program, uninstall it from your computer.
