Hi,

I had to reinstall Evernote because I changed my OS from Windows 8 to Windows 7. Now I can’t import my notes from Windows 8. I have exported some notes to an USB Drive and now I can’t access them. Can anyone help me to import this notes? What are the chances that I might lost all the notes? Regards!

Could not import notes, error MISSING_NOTE_TITTLE

The most common cause of Evernote giving the "Missing Note Title" error is that the actual note name is either too long or contains invalid characters, such as "ä" (german letter A with umlaut). To fix this problem, try to access notes in Windows Explorer and then rename them to the shortest name possible – "note1", "note2" etc. Avoid spaces and special characters. There is a very small chance that the notes are unrecoverable, though it still exists. Always remember to backup your notes regularly to another device, especially before changing operating systems.
