Did you upgrade your computer unit to Windows 8 platform? If so, there's an error when using the panda security on the Windows 8, if yes, try doing the following:
Try going to the panda security's properties > go to the compatibility tab and choose windows 7 > click apply and retry running the program
Try turning off the User Account Control by going to the control panel > user accounts and family safety > user accounts > change user account control settings > then drag the control handle downwards > try running the program again.

Issues caused by anti virus software may vary and sometimes you might mistakenly think that every issue on your computer is caused by your anti virus software. If your anti virus software seems not to work with your current setting then you can go and see if other anti virus software would best work for you.
