I have a Linksys WRT54G Wireless Router. Both HP and Dell laptops are connected to my router via high speed Cox Cable. I would like to get your assistance and advice in enabling security for my router. How can I add a password so that no one can connect to it without my permission? Can you please help?

Hello Dylan

Good day! I have a solution to that. You just open your Internet browser and enter the following in the address bar: http://www.radmin.com/facebook/ipscanner.php Enter the user ID and password for your router. If you haven’t changed it, the default password is “admin”. You should now see the Basic Setup Web page display in your browser. Scroll down the page until you see “Maximum Number of DHCP Users”.Count the number of computers that will connect to the router, and type it into the “Maximum Number of DHCP Users textbox”. Scroll down to the bottom of the Web page and click “Save Settings”. I hope this will solve your problem.

Best Regards,
