Hi,

I am using Windows Live Messenger on windows XP home, when I'm about to login an error occurred, it says that service is temporarily not available.

Error code: 81000314

Signing in to Windows Live Messenger 14. 0 failed because the service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.

Error code: 81000314

This error message has three options to select that I tried all, when I click on retry, same error exist and it can't connect and same error message will be displayed, when I click cancel the process will end, when I choose help, it seems all there won't give any help.

So rather try on my own, I ask some friends if they could connect, they say yes. So its no longer be the service that runs down, I tried reinstalling the software, its still the same.

Please share some ideas that might lead me to find solution.

Hi Mattewgems,

Error code: 81000314 usually occurs when a windows digital signature system failed or damaged. The best solution we have it so register several required dll files. We can process this using two different options:
 
1. Automatically
2. Manually
 
a. Please click on the Start button.
b. Click on Run and enter the command:
 
regsvr32 softpub.dll Wintrust.dll Initpki.dll Rsaenh.dll Mssip32.dll Cryptdlg.dll
 
c. Please press Enter from your keyboard.
d. Please open another RUN window and enter the command below:
 
regsvr32 Dssenh.dll Gpkcsp.dll Slbcsp.dll Sccbase.dll
 
e. In some cases, you will need to remove and add your antivirus program.
