Hello Nimrod,

Well it is not possible. I haven't seen any software that can possibly bypass the password and reveal it in your blackberry phone.

The black berry phone can save the network names of the wireless connection but you cannot reveal it for mostly security reasons. What if somebody stole your phone and there is a possibility that they can now know all the wireless passwords that is being saved in your phone.

For some instances it is a legal option to be more secure and protected and it is an intention to allow access only by your own to avoid being infiltrated.

Hope this will help you a lot.

Nimrod,

Sorry to say but that is not possible. You can not view a password from a wifi profile which is saved on your blackberry. You can only access a connection from that, when the password is entered in the router setup. In that case also, you can only view the password phrase. There are no ways to breach a secured wireless connection through a mobile phone. Bad luck for you.

I’m sorry but the thing you want to do is not possible. There is no way you can view the saved Wi-Fi password on any Smartphones. The only way to change the password of a saved Wi-Fi profile name is to delete it and create a new profile name for the Wi-Fi network.

I don’t think there is an Android app or BlackBerry app that can or will allow you to view the saved Wi-Fi password. The name of the Wi-Fi network is what you call the SSID or the Service Set Identifier. It is a case-sensitive, 32 alphanumeric character unique ID or identifier connected to the header of packets sent over a WLAN or Wireless Local Area Network.

Aside from the actual password of the Wi-Fi network, the SSID also acts as a password and adds security to the network. The SSID and the password works in pair. You will not be permitted to connect to the network if you don’t know the other one. Like if you know the SSID but not the password, connection is denied.

The same way if you know the password but not the SSID, your connection is also denied. The SSID can be hidden which makes it invisible to mobile devices but not on computers.
