The error itself says what to do to fix the error. The error said you need to back up your crap and reformat it. For you to save your data in this kind of error, you need to back up always. After reformat I’m sure it will work again. Drive sometimes fails and you may encounter this kind of error message that you don’t expect. So all you need to do always to keep your files back up.  It just a matter of buying a hard disk or a CD drive or other storage device that you know your files is safe. Hope this help.

Hello Saarah,

To resolve that issue, you will need to backup your files and everything of importance that you have on your computer and then reformat the computer after that. You will need to replace the drive after that too.

In the event that you are in Audio work, I will strongly recommend that you make it a routine to ALWAYS back up your samples, for the drives fail all the time.

You will need to ensure that you keep your data backed up on another drive, and on DVDs as well. This will prevent you from losing data in the event that the drive fails.

Regards,

Carl
