I am receiving the error “Scanning incomplete, error -1010 (API request bad)" under Operations Log while backing up a set of four. The error is displayed only in the first set and the others are completed successfully. How do I get rid of this? Any help will be appreciated.

Then 1010 error comes due to many problems, Sometimes the drive having problem while reading data, It can also be bad sector or your file is corrupt. For solving your problem run the full disk check by going to command prompt and typing the command CHKDSK and then see whether your problem has been solved or not or see whether that is showing any type of error . You should also check the windows event logs as you can know where some errors or present there or not. If there are some error present then solve those errors. By going through these steps you can solve your problem easily.

This is probably a problem with the program itself or with the installation. Try to uninstall and reinstall the program. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo then select the affected program among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo then install the program back or download the latest version if there is one. If this doesn’t work, run the program as admin. Right-click the program in fault and select “Run as administrator”.
