Queued apps for download disappear on iPod touch

Hi,

 I have a problem with my iPod touch.  I want to download two apps.  I first enter my iTunes password for the first app to download, then I go into the iTunes store to download another.  

Now, I have the two lined up for downloading.  While waiting for them to download, I use an app.  After several minutes I go back to check on the progress of the download, and the second app has disappeared from the queue!  I am confused.

Queued apps for download disappear on iPod touch

Just try it again if the other one disappeared in the queue. Maybe it’s normal for the application to automatically remove several items that are already lined up. If you are using your computer to download from iTunes, try closing the iTunes application then reboot the computer.

After restarting the system, open the application again and try downloading the files again. You may also check if your computer has a good internet connection. It is possible that the other file disappeared because of an interruption in the connection.

You may also try uninstalling the application and then install it back. This will restore its settings back to default and will fix any corrupted files in the installation.
