IPod Touch Files Transfer through Total Commander Error

Hi guys. I am trying to transfer huge files to my iPod Touch. My iPod Touch is on version 1.1.3 right now.

I have done everything that I saw in the various videos and tutorials that I have seen.

I am using the Total Commander to do this task, but I keep on getting this

Error uploading file pop up.

The pop up has the file name I am trying to transfer.

If you can tell me what I am doing wrong, or if there is a better way to do it, I’ll be much grateful.

Thanks.

IPod Touch Files Transfer through Total Commander Error

Hi Dawn Hardwick,

I’m sorry to hear that you are having problems with transferring files using your IPod.

In this instance, what you can do is to separate the file into multiple smaller files and to transfer them one by one. This would allow it to be transferred without any hassle and just merge the files again on its destination.

****Use the WinRar program: This is free btw.

****Click (Right) file you want to split.

***Click on “add to archive”. You may rename as necessary

***under the general tab, (see below) – you’ll see “split to volumes, bytes” – set it to 10 MB. (if it still doesn’t work, split it every 5MBs)

I hope that helps!
