I have SonicWALL Pro 3040. How can I make the syslog output of it that has a dstname= “URL  that was entered by the user”. How can I do it?

Hello  Jacob Price,

You will need to make the configuration concerning the syslog output from the sonicwall application settings. From the settings you will be able to enter which sites that you need to block so that the users on the network you are on cannot access.

You can alter the changes any time and add new urls that you need to restrict access to them, or also remove some urls that you have blocked and users have to access them for instance for research purposes.

So open sonicwall and access it settings to configure that.
