Pwi corrupted file install problem during the re-installation

This problem generally occurs when the system crashes with the .pwi file open in the memory. Pocket Word Document is a stripped down version of Microsoft Word, which is mainly used on handheld computers. Parts of the data might be missing or corrupted, which caused the system crash.

It might even be caused by hardware or software issues including viruses. Data recovery tools are not available for .pwi files, so it can’t be recovered. If you cannot open any other .pwi files, the problem is most probably associated with the software itself. In such case, you might need to uninstall and reinstall the Pocket Word Document application.
