Problem with windows seven activating

I have a PC with Intel Atom processor. I installed Windows 7 starter edition. I got an error message that reads, "Windows tried to activate error code 0xC004E003. " My friends also used the same code and they don't have any problem.

What should I do to solve this problem ?

Please help me.

Hi Angel,

Where did you get your Windows 7 from?  Did someone else already install it? 

Because this error is related to Microsoft Product Key. 

If some body has no activation or product key, then he will get this error.

So first, you should buy a new CD or download a registered one and then install it.

Or if you want to reactivate the genuine version then try this :

• Star t> Search >Type slui.exe4 and enter. After that select your country in the menu and follow the instructions to get registered or you can also get some product keys and other information  from the website of Microsoft.

Problem with windows seven activating

Hi,

This problem can be solved by installing Windows again, using the installer that contains a key you are using. You need to install the version that your friends are using. The activation key you are using is not the product key of your installed Windows 7. Use the same installer from friends.

This error code is related to key, does not match with product you are using.  As the error is "invalid product key", you might try calling the phone number on the activation screen, to make sure that the product key is valid.
