Hi,

I’m a windows 7 user with 64 bit architecture. I’m using outlook 2007 version for my email needs. I have made an add in for outlook. I’m able to successfully install the program without any issues, but once I start the outlook.

I get this error message “ Downloading file:///C:/Users/paro/AppData/Roaming/Tekla. Oyj/OutlookAddInSetup/CRM_OutlookClient_Change.vsto did not succeed.”

Please help me find a solution to this problem.

Thank you.

Dear Adam Johnson the problem you are describing “ Downloading file:///C:/Users/paro/AppData/Roaming/Tekla. Oyj/OutlookAddInSetup/CRM_OutlookClient_Change.vsto did not succeed.” looks like a bad path entry in the registry. Kindly check the registry path of your add in again. Its proper place is under Wow6432Node as the office you have mentioned is 2007 whereas your operating system has 64 bit architecture. This would be different if your os is also 32 bit. If the path you entered is correct also check for the misspelled words. After rectifying start the outlook again and there should be no problem when loading the add in you have created.
