Hi to all,

I have a problem regarding my installation of Windows Xp. My OS version is 2002 and it is running on Service Pack 3, I thought I updated everything in Windows Update but my installation of Nod32 Antivirus keeps on telling that I have an outdated OS and I need to download the critical updates it mentioned. The Updates included in the list provided by Nod32 includes multiple Security Updates for Internet Explorer, Windows Genuine Advantage Notification Tool, Microsoft Frameworks. etc.

The main problem is that when I go to the Windows Update in the control panel, I do not see these in the updates available. Is their anything I should do for me to be able to see the updates required by NOD32 because my NOD32 Antivirus is really annoying and it keeps asking me to update. If you can help me with my problem I would be forever indebted to you. Thanks for reading.

In case miss configuration of windows update automatic update auto installation. Please check the settings configured for the automatic update.

If you find latest update has not installed, than manually download and than install it in the operating system. And check the setting for the automatic update is enabled in the computer setting, to check same, go to my computer >> and property >> than the tab Automatic Update enabled the option. If the statement seems false, than you should check antivirus settings.

At the moment, support for Microsoft Windows XP has already been terminated by Microsoft. Even if the Windows Automatic Updates is turned on, it will do no good because Windows Update will no longer find new updates for the operating system. Since you are still on Microsoft Windows XP, you should download and update your operating system to Windows XP Service Pack 3.

This is the latest and last Service Pack update for Microsoft Windows XP. This is the only solution left to update your operating system. But even if you update your operating system to this Service Pack, ESET NOD32 antivirus will still alert you that your operating system is outdated. This is actually fine and you can ignore it.

There should be no problem if your operating system is not up-to-date since you already have the latest Service Pack installed. Just always keep your antivirus up-to-date to make sure you are protected against all forms of malware and viruses. If you can upgrade your operating system and your hardware can support it, you should move to a higher operating system like Microsoft Windows 7.
